Lead Inspections

  1. LEAD INSPECTION

    A surface-by-surface investigation to determine the presence of lead-based paint and a report of the results.

  2. LEAD RISK ASSESSMENT

    An on site investigation to determine the existence, nature, severity, and location of any lead-based-paint hazards. The provision of a report by the person conducting the risk assessment explaining the results of the investigation and options for reducing the lead-based paint hazard will be issued.

  3. COMBINATION INSPECTION/RISK ASSESSMENT

    Includes both, a Lead Inspection and a Lead Risk Assessment. Identifies the location of all lead paint and paint hazards with recommendations or addressing the hazards.

  4. LEAD CLEARANCE TEST

    Visual examination and collection of environmental samples by a Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor. An analysis by an accredited laboratory upon completion of an abatement project, interim control intervention, or maintenance job that disturbs lead-based paint (or paint suspected of being lead- based) will be completed.

  5. EXTERIOR VISUAL CLEARANCE

    Visual examination of exterior work that was performed, identify that all paint chips, and debris have been cleaned up.
